YOUR Success Process

Do you have a success process?  If you have one, can you write it down?  Does it work every time?

I created a class a few years ago to help participants discover their own unique success process.  Feedback told me that most people didn’t realize that what they do and how they do it equals successful results.

Are You Confident?

Confidence is a state of mind.

It is said that self-confidence is a skill. It is a skill that takes practice. Until you have enough examples in your memory banks of resourcefulness and success on a given topic, you tend not to feel confident. Your unconscious mind wants to keep you in your comfort zone where it feels safe but often confused on how to succeed.

However, God puts the dreams and visions in your heart. If you weren’t born with the potential to accomplish your dreams, why would God/consciousness put them there in the first place? God has a plan and you are part of that plan. You are the only one who can stop you and you are the only one who can move forward.

In other words, you only have confidence if the task is not new to you. Practice is the only thing that will build confidence and greater skills.

Life is a class here in Earth School. Like it or not you will always be taking one or more classes for personal growth. Either you get on board with your growth or life will give you an unexpected push. It’s much more empowering to be decisive and prepared in advance.

So let’s say you make a decision to grow in a certain area of your life. That’s where a like-minded individual or a coach can be of great benefit to keep you on track.

Once you become one with the outcome you desire, there is a mindset shift inside you.

  • You view hurdles along your path as temporary.
  • You know they are growth opportunities for you to learn and become more confident.
  • You do healing work as needed or seek help from a professional.
  • You notice the serendipity in your life.
  • Since challenges show up for your benefit and by a higher power,  you will learn to view them as a gift and look for the higher wisdom.
  • You learn to be grateful for what happens – especially in hind-sight. 🙂
  • You view things that happen the way YOU choose to view them.
  • You learn to roll with, move around or above situations others would deem as show-stoppers.
  • You stay in action focused on your vision.
  • There will be times when you need to re-charge. Especially if your vision is big and goes against the status-quo. Stay focused and ask for help as needed. Remember, God/consciousness is on your side and you are the decider in your life.
  • And….you will learn to let go of trying to control every step of the process on your path and give God/consciousness/Higher Power room to create miracles.

“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.” – Henry Ford

The Power of Decision and Intuition

Do you procrastinate?

Do you spend countless time mulling things over in your head trying to make sense of what you did/didn’t or should/shouldn’t do?

Do you wait to make a decision until your “guidance” assures you the road is paved with rose petals?

Action is empowering, and YOU are the decider in your life. So sometimes you just need to make a decision and move forward. Waiting for permission from anyone but yourself keeps you stuck and waiting.

What do people do when they wait? They surf the internet; they watch television; they eat too much; they sleep too much. You get the picture. They engage in activities that keep them stuck and stall the creation of their results.

Do you do that? If yes, that just means you’re human. The question to ponder is how often do you do that and do you have what you really want yet?

God or Infinite Intelligence puts the dreams in your heart. Your job is to keep moving toward your dreams so you can have the life you truly want to live. Why else would you be here? Surely not to watch the lives others lead and not partake yourself. Oh wait…you can do that too with reality shows now. Is that getting you the life you want to live?

Intentions and the Domino Effect

Everything happens because you set intentions. After that, it is up to you to follow your guidance and take inspired action – consistently. If you have doubts, fears or other issues that stand in the way of you moving forward, Spirit will work with you so you become the energy of receiving that which you desire. This also applies to your purpose.

If you are thinking the way to get around this is to not set goals or intentions – think again. God is inside you. When you’re happy, God is happy. Your Soul a/k/a you, came here to grow and be more God-like. Since you have free will, you can change your mind and choose differently at any time. However, as long as your intention(s) and purpose remain the same and you keep moving forward, your course is on target.

By the way, even if you change your current intention, another one will take its place, and the whole process starts anew. Along your path you will be called to move beyond your comfort zone and change some habits that no longer serve you. Such is life.

God puts the dreams in your heart. This is what ignites your every cell to say YES! I want that in my life. Or, YES! I want that for the world. However, if it also feels like a stretch, that’s a good thing. Your intuition is your GPS from God and your Soul.

Let’s use the Wright Brothers as an example. They had a dream in their hearts to create a flying machine. Where did that come from? God, of course. It didn’t matter that it was a stretch or that they failed many times. That was the domino effect removing obstacles to the fruition of their dream. They continued to follow their internal GPS, and voila! We now have the airplane. Thank you Wright Brothers for weathering your storms and sticking with your dreams and purpose.

Spirit gives clues and knocks softly to help guide you. This is where your intuition comes in. Spirit communicates with you in ways that only you will understand. You are free to interpret these signs with shadow or light. In your heart, however, you always know the path you are being guided to take. Your task is to muster the courage to take it and keep moving forward.

Here’s an example from my life. I used to be a consultant for a financial-services software corporation. My intuition was hounding me to leave that job and create a business of my own. Having always been in the corporate sector, this was a huge stretch for me. My fear and shadow spoke louder than Spirit’s voice so I ignored that call for two years. Eventually my resistance created a health scare that was loud and very clear. So I finally listened and moved onto the path of my Soul’s purpose for being here.

If you resist your softer guidance, Spirit will begin to knock louder as time goes on. The process from then on is the same. Listen and move forward with faith, courage and gratitude or the knocks may get stronger. However, that doesn’t mean the path will always be paved with rose petals. Life happens no matter what path you choose.

There is no match for having a passion and enthusiasm for life and living that is fueled by a higher source. Fuel to the heart is what I call it. When we let God/Spirit/our Soul IN, the feeling is total ignition, full steam-ahead. How does it get better than that? It’s called living your bliss from the inside out.

Embrace your calling. Only you can know what that means.

When God Holds Your Hand

Have you ever doubted that God or a power bigger than you “had your back”? In case you have, this story will remind you to notice the little signs that divine energy is always with you.

If you’re familiar with my work, website or blogs, you already know that I am a very spiritual person. You may also know that I have a purpose that is quite big – at least in my estimation. However, that’s just when I’m feeling small or outnumbered and focus on fear rather than the magic and miracles all around me or the growing number of like-minded people in the world.

I currently have a part-time job as a waitress while I work on my business and a new book. Since I believe everything is a gift and an opportunity, I was gifted with an experience recently that touched my heart and reminded me why my purpose is so important.

A table of five adults and one very young boy were in my section at the restaurant. The little boy kept trying to communicate with me as best he could and engage me in conversation. He was too young to speak words clearly, but he communicated with his smile and pure loving and joyful energy.

During one of my visits to check on his table, this child took my hand in his and held my hand as he began to interact with others at the table. He held my hand as if it was the most normal and natural thing for me to stand there by his side and hold hands. Tears just started to come to my eyes at the pure love and openness in this child. So I stood there as long as I could holding hands with this messenger of God with pure gratitude in my heart and Soul.

Those of you who have children and interact with them on a daily basis may not think this event too unusual or such a big deal. What makes this unique for me is that my purpose is to help children remember their connection to God, what they came here to do, and to help them in the most natural way possible. This includes a healthy and humane food supply.

So it is quite significant to me that this child whom I did not know and never met before held my hand and expected me to stay there with him while he was already in the midst of those who love him dearly.

It felt as if God was working through this child reminding me of my purpose and to stay the course no matter how challenging the road may appear to be.

During this holiday season, please take time to notice the signs God is sending your way. They are always there because we are always blessed and gifted with more love and grace than we typically notice.

Please share this post with those who may benefit and create a lovely and joyous holiday season.

Enjoy infinite blessings,

Cheryl

Dance with the New – A Dream Interpretation

Do you pay attention to your dreams?

I had a dream the other night just before waking. In the dream, I was watching a young man dance with the energy around him. Pretty soon a young woman appeared in front of him and was dancing with him in the same energy. Then someone on his right, and then many others on his left.

Dream interpretation is a very personal thing. Dreams are a metaphor for aspects of ourselves. They show us what’s going on in our lives combined with what our intuition is trying to tell us.

Many years ago I had requested of my consciousness that dreams I needed to remember be shared right before I awaken. So I always take note of dreams I have just before I wake up.

How I interpret this particular dream may be different than your interpretation of my dream. However, if you receive a gift here on either dream interpretation or something more specific to benefit your life, this story was worth sharing.

Now back to my dream. Since I was watching all of this and not participating in the dance, I was the observer. Could I be observing too much in my life and not participating enough?

The young man represented my male energy; the go-getter, results-oriented, type-A aspect of myself. However, he was going with the flow while still being intuitive enough to notice the subtle signs of the dance. Something I don’t always tend to do under stress or a self-imposed deadline.

The young woman that appeared represented my feminine energy; the receiver of life and birth of the new joining to bring it into form as a dance in life – or achieve results gracefully and joyfully from the heart.

As other people began to appear in the dance, I felt connected to something larger than just the dance I was doing.

Being a very sensitive and intuitive person with a background in the corporate sector, integration of both of these aspects within myself has not always been easy. I sometimes go to one extreme or the other. Hopefully this dream was telling me that I have integrated these aspects energetically and now I just need to go with the flow and follow the signs to bring it into form gracefully.

There could perhaps be an additional message in the dream to manage stress more effectively.

How are you enjoying your dance? Need a little assistance? Feel free to comment, share or contact me.

Kick Your Stress to the Curb Peacefully

When you are stressed about something, you are most likely upset in some way.  You may be fearful of something happening or not happening.  It could be caused by anything.  Research tells us that 80% of illness is caused by stress.

So how do you calm your stress?  Is your method health enhancing or will it cause problems for you or your life?

I’ve struggled with a sugar addiction in some form all my life.  Addiction starts out as fun, an experiment or a way to redirect your focus to delay dealing with what is going on inside or outside of you.  Eating too much or unhealthy foods always felt like a hug to me since my family used food as love as many families do.

Rather than deal with the root cause of that which drives you to eat when you are not physically hungry or whatever your escape tactic may be such as television, it becomes a habit to shove the angst down or set it aside rather than sit with it and move through it.  I’ve heard it said many times that the quickest way beyond something is through it.

People fear pain.  People fear change because they think change can bring pain.  However, change can also just happen to shake up your comfort zone to get you to grow into the goal you or your Soul have set for yourself.  Pushing the boundaries of a comfort zone can cause any number of responses or reactions.  Responses tend to be healthier and reactions tend to be automatic triggers inside you that “attack” to stay “safe.”

“When people stop being afraid, they rediscover their compassion.” – From the film Amazing Grace.

The breath is our connection to our Soul.  Our Soul is our connection to God.  We are all part of the same whole created by the One Creator – regardless of what name is given to the Source of all that exists.

When you, anyone or a whole group of people are stuck in fear, the first impulse is to react and protect.  Protection as a reaction can take on many forms.  It can show up as addictions or profiling or projecting things onto someone or others that may not be true.

A safer choice is to stop the mind from racing for a minute, get quiet and just breathe.  Feel centered and connect with your God inspired self.  Inspiration can then enter the door of your open mind and heart where it could not enter a closed mind and heart filled with fear or anger.  That is where compassion finds its way into your heart and into the world.  Compassion opens the door to understanding and forgiveness.

If you haven’t read my article on How to Improve Your Focus yet, you will find it helpful.

Most times, everything boils down to a choice between fear and love.  It starts with you, me and every person in the world.  I believe animals matter here also.  Isn’t it time we all started finding compassion and choose love?  This world is a collective enterprise.  You first contribute to the world with your feeling vibration.

How do you feel right now?

Check in with your breath whenever you feel stressed.  Stop to breathe before you blurt out something you may regret.  Stop to breathe before you shove down a dozen cookies, a few cocktails or buy something you don’t need.  You may still end up making the same choice, but you’ll hopefully be consciously responding after breathing rather than automatically reacting to numb the temporary pain you feel in the current moment.

Everything is temporary.  This too shall pass.  Stopping to breathe and check in allows grace to enter.

Give it a try.  It really does work…when you are willing to change and push your comfort zone a little bit.  Check out my free 5 minute class entitled Steppin’ Out of Your Comfort Zone.  You’ll enjoy it.

If you need additional assistance, please seek the help of a professional.

Enjoy consciously breathing and kick your stress to the curb peacefully.

Please share this article for the benefit of all.

Enjoy infinite blessings!
